Community Rowing of San Diego
Coach Naomi discovered rowing as a sophomore at SDSU, where she rowed on the women’s team for her last three years of undergrad and first year of grad school. She recently graduated with a Master’s degree in sociology and still loves to compete in regattas. After spending her childhood in Mexico, Naomi moved to the National City area and graduated from Sweetwater Union High School. Naomi is so devoted to our local community that she has been a volunteer coach with CRSD since 2018 and she also volunteers with Al Otro Lado.
Coach Naomi co-coaches the CRSD high school team with Coach Mike and helps run the CRSD camps, after school programs, and other youth programs. Her warm, kind nature, amazing sense of humor, and love of all things Star Wars make Coach Naomi every kid’s favorite coach!
