Community Cats of Pepper Park

The rocks surrounding San Diego's waterways are home to many communities of feral cats. Also known as "community cats" or "jetty cats," these pretty kitties live in colonies, hunting rodents by night, sunning themselves or hiding in the shade of the rocks by day. Community cats are cared for by various groups, such as as the Feral Cat Coalition, which spays and neuters them and provides them with vaccinations. .
