After School Program
Community Rowing of San Diego has partnered with The Coastal Conservancy to bring an exciting after school program to our community. Designed to ignite a commitment to higher education and conservation of California's coastal habitats and waterways, the program will blend hands-on education at the Living Coast Discovery Center in Chula Vista with on-water experiences, kayaking, and learning to row in the San Diego Bay. Students will alternate between the Living Coast Discovery Center and CRSD every Monday-Thursday, from 4 to 6 pm. Transportation provided. Scholarships available, contact us!
Crew for Conservation and Challenge (C3) –
2024 Program Highlight
Students from our 2024 Crew for Conservation and Challenge (C3) program had the unique opportunity to participate in a private tour and weekly classes at the Living Coast Discovery Center in Chula Vista.
Each Tuesday, they returned to the center to explore new experiences led by a recurring staff member who guided them through engaging, hands-on environmental education activities. This enriching partnership allowed our students to deepen their connection to nature and conservation while building lasting knowledge and memories.
