CRSD's volunteer coaches include several veterans, coaches with adaptive rowing experience, and coaches who are gaining adaptive rowing experience. All CRSD coaches are enthusiastic about serving our military. Come row with us!

Community Rowing of San Diego is proud to partner with USRowing and the Veterans Administration to offer programs to veterans and military personnel. USRowing has established the national Freedom Rows program through the Grants for Adaptive Sports Programs for Disabled Veterans and Members of the Armed Forces (ASG Program) to increase access to rowing for veterans, regardless of their ability, age, or experience. Freedom Rows aims to increase the number of disabled veterans participating and competing in adaptive and para-rowing. We are grateful to USRowing for their support of CRSD's Freedom Rows programming, and to the San Diego VA Medical Center for allowing us to create programs for veterans in their care.

Whether you are looking for a new way to stay fit on your own or with a group, seeking tranquility and wellness on the water, or looking to train for para competition in an adaptive sport, Community Rowing of San Diego is here for you.
