Service Description

This course will be offered after the Introduction course from 10:30AM to 12:30PM, ideally in progression but weather and participants may dictate whether the class will follow. Breakdown of this course: Power & Stamina (from the boathouse) • Develop the strength, power and endurance needed to row efficiently over long distances and through challenging conditions. Adapting to waves (from the boathouse | flip test) • Learn how to adjust stroke technique, boat position, and body movement to stay balanced and efficient as waves and swell change with the tide. Slalom and Turns (from the boathouse) • Practice quick, precise, controlled turns and maneuvering around obstacles while maintaining boat speed and stability. Beach Entry (from crown cove/ sliver strand SB) • Learn safe techniques for entering and exiting through surf and shallow water, making sure that safety and control are big factors on a beach entry.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule please contact us 24 hours in advance. If your LTR Camp/Class is cancelled prior to the first day you will be refunded the full amount. If the cancellation occurs after the start of the camp then the refund will be prorated for the number of days that service was provided. Refunds will occur within 10 days.
